A filter provides protection against damage to the washer and accessories by thoroughly purifying the water from particles, such as, among others: sand and pebbles. It prevents dirt particles from entering the washer pump.
The filter is removable and it can be cleaned and rinsed under running water.
The filter is screwed into the device on one side and connected to a standard garden quick connector on the other side.
