ER4043 wire for TIG welding of aluminum Al-Si and Al-Si-Mg alloys with a maximum content of alloying elements below 2% and Si content up to 7%. Used in welding aluminum alloys of the 6000-1000, 6000-3000 series, as well as casting and plastically processed alloys. The weld has a very good resistance to thermal cracks. High silicon content ensures control and smoothness of welding, and the weld remains bright and shiny.
