A single-pole touchless switch, otherwise known as a door switch, emits a beam of infrared radiation. As long as it sees its reflection, that is, “the door is closed”, the circuit is disconnected and the light is turned off. At the moment of “opening the door”, the sensor stops seeing the obstacle and turns on the circuit turning on the light. The detection range of the sensor is 5-6 cm and it can handle a total of 200 W.
